The Purpose of Life

Balance of the Self gives congruence, presence and direction.

To what end though?

The quotes above illustrates the artists awareness of the status of Hip Hop immortals.

Legends live legacies that live forever.

When you've had such an impactful life, you die but your spirits presence never really leaves.

Many years after their death we still:

Mourn Tupac Shakur and hope for his reincarnation.

Quote Bob Marley.

Make movies about Abraham Lincoln.

Apply Newtonian and Einstenian laws.

Hate Adolph Hitler.

Study Miles Munroe's books.

Appreciate Nelson Mandelas role in South Africa.

Awe over the lives of biblical characters.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I can give many more names that have shaped human history and stood the test of time simply by having a timeless presence.

In the pursuit of Self, presence is the key to perpetuity.

The purpose of life is perpetuity of self.

In this context, Perpetuity of self is spiritual cross-over not procreation.

Before creation, there was God, so without creation, God is still God.

But then God creates everything and extends Himself through His creation.

When our will is aligned to Gods will then we become an extension of God and that's the whole point in life.

Now back to the self.

My presence is my true worth and extent of influence to everything around me.

My values are my deepest beliefs and every thing around me is a recipient of it, this being the actual value of what my children inherit.

Parents with good presence pass on proper values to their children.

Bad parents pass baggage to children who when affected by it have to work even harder to reverse the damage or else pass it on to another person.

In this context, children are offspring and also everyone i come across.

I pray these words will survive me.

I pray my kids will survive me.

I pray my sacrifices will survive me.

I pray my work ethic will survive me.

I pray my talents will survive me.

I pray my spirit will survive me, through my works or my influence on you so when am gone I might live on through you.

Not as a memory, but as an influence.

If I die and go to heaven but my presence on earth didn't make the world a little better then that's still a fail.

If I die and go to hell but my presence left the world better then that's just pitiful.
