Guess what else , Rastafarians claim that King Solomon was a ganja smoker and the herb was planted in his graveyard flower bed.
Well, forget about what we've heard, let's talk about what we all know, may know, should know about the holy herb.
Apparently, the earliest reference of the plant is in the holy scriptures.
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh,half as much of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of KANNABOSM, 500 shekels of cassia - _all according to the Sanctuary Shekel - and a hind of olive oil.Make these into a sacred annointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer.It will be the sacred annointing oil.

At your own time, read the entire chapter but in summary this sacred oil is to be used to consecrate the altar, the ark and all objects in the tent where the ark is kept.
The same oil is used to consecrate Aaron and the priests and instructions are given forbidding use of the oil by the unconsecrated people and even use of the formula to make the oil or its perfume is totally prohibited and punishable by exclusion from society.
Kannabosm, or as later translated to cannabis in English, is a traditional Hebrew word "Kanna" meaning reed or hemp and "bosm" meaning aromatic.
That then implies kannabosm is an aromatic reed, you might want to research on the uses of "hemp" in traditional society.
Well, am more interested in other uses of cannabis other than as an oil, fragrance, painkiller ...my interest is in its use as a psychoactive drug.
Since the creation of the universe, plants have almost solely been the reason animal species survive to this day.
Their role is as important as that of the sun...be it creation of rain, creation of oxygen, medicine, food and nutrition and many many more.
All plants are teachers, they carry within them a primordial wisdom that can expand our normally restricted ways of thinking if used in the right way.

Since ancient times, certain plants like the coca, and cannabis have been used to alter peoples states of consciousness.
Such plants have psychoactive properties i.e can make one view reality from a perspective that is not limited by the normal confines of 3D reality.
Through cannabis we have been able to and we can:
•Enter certain spiritual realms only accessible through enlightenment and meditation.
•Learn the path of least resistance
•Learn oneness with the universe
•Learn surrender and release of one's self
•Learning to let go of the fear behind the insistent ego
•Learn the effortlessness of being
Note that, substance use is different from substance abuse and substance use is not the only way to achieve the states highlighted above.
Now moving on to how these substances interact with your conscious state.
Psychoactive plants, just like other plants and animals too, have vibrations.
Now every individual of every species of every genus of every....be it plant or animal, has a unique vibratory rate and when two vibratory rates share the same space then the two rates must match.
Traditionally, sharing of space or having a vibratory relationship with another individual (plant or animal) was called friending.
Traditionally, this is a process where a brain (transceiver of normal static 3 Dimensional reality) interacts with a plant (gateway or portal between realms or dimensions) so as to transcode reality from an elevated dimension.
The interaction between the brain and the plant is governed by different factors.
1. Vibratory states.
A person with a vibration higher than the plant ends up feeling worse after friending i.e sadness and paranoia
A person with a vibration lower than the plant will feel better since the plants higher vibration picks the person's low vibration back into realignment.
2. Intent
Intention directs energy and creates reality.
Use of cannabis with no set intention leads to cannabis responding to the intention of your subconscious e.g if your subconscious wishes for you to know something buried within yourself then cannabis makes such emotions surface hence paranoia.
Cannabis allows one to release his resistance by letting go thoughts that induce a stress reaction for the body.

Psychoactive substances are addictive habitually and psychologically as they are an easy escape route for those not wanting to actually deal with their inner states without the help of such tools.
Inner states should be dealt without substances, as this is the path to highest progress.
I write all of this, as a man having friended marijuana in both productive and unproductive ways.
Eventually, another man's food is another man's poison.
A man cannot conclude for another.
